A wet and rainy day for the Opening Cruise on Sunday 9 September 2012. A great turn out and effort from the ZVSC and ZVYC sailors. A few games of dominoes were played in the ZVSC; before wheeling the dinghies to the shore and rigging the boats!
Honourable guests; Asenathi Jim and Dave Hudson from ‘Team Race Ahead‘ gave speeches and insights from the Olympics 2012 and campaign. Roger Hudson sent his apologies and well wishes to everyone and the upcoming season. Asenathi had the honour to raise the flags for the official opening of the season.
